Its spring and time to start planning for the annual Walk for the Animals!  This year’s walk will be held on Saturday, May 19th at the Prairie’s Edge Humane Society shelter from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. You can walk anytime between these hours or join the group walk at 9:00 AM.  We are busy planning many activities!  There will be contests for you and your pet, raffles and games!  

So start your fundraising now by downloading a Pledge form, then ask your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to donate.

There will be prizes for the top fundraising adult and the top fundraising juvenile (under 18).  Anyone who raises at least $50 will receive a Walk for the Animals T-shirt.

Don’t have your own pet to walk?  Don’t worry we will rent you one!  For a small donation you can walk a shelter dog.  We have numerous shelter dogs who would love for you to walk with them.
