The MN Borinqueneers Motorcycle club is helping our animals!  On Saturday, April 28th, they will be holding their annual Rocky Mountain Oyster and Ham Dinner.

Born out of a desire to honor the 65th Infantry Regiment, the Borinqueneers MC rides to commemorate the accomplishments and struggles of the only Hispanic segregated unit in U.S. military history.  They strive to serve the people in the city of  Owatonna MN and the communities surrounding Owatonna, by being a living testament to the service of the 65th Regiment to our country, honoring them and every veteran for their selfless sacrifices for our freedoms.

Each year they select non-profit groups in the area to benefit from the proceeds of their Annual Rocky Mountain Oyster dinner and this year they have graciously selected Prairie’s Edge Humane Society to be one of the recipients of those funds. The dinner will be held at the Owatonna Elks Club, 126 E. Vine St., Owatonna, MN.  They will be serving  from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  Tickets are available at the PEHS shelter in Faribault for only $10.00!  Please purchase your ticket ahead of time from the shelter so that Prairie’s Edge gets credit for the sale.  Menu: Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Beans, Coleslaw, Bread, Beverage and Rocky Mountain Oysters!  You won’t find a better deal on a meal to help a cause with four paws!

Don’t miss this one!
