We had several cat adoptions over the weekend but we are still in dire need of dog adoptions.  Please, if you have ever considered adopting a dog, now is the time!  We have several wonderful dogs here at the shelter and in foster care who are just waiting to be your new best friend.  You can see all of the available dogs by clicking on the “adoptable animals” tab on the right side of the screen.  All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, have been given a routine health and behavior assessment by our shelter veterinarian and an accredited trainer.  All dogs will go home with a new collar and leash from our retail selection (while supplies last), 30 days of free pet health insurance, a free wellness check from an area veterinarian and a 4 lb bag of Science Diet dog food.  Please spread the word.  if we do not get some of the dogs currently on our adoption floor adopted out it will greatly affect our ability to help new dogs coming into the shelter and will force us to make some very difficult decisions in regards to new dogs coming in.  Our hours this week are Tues-Fri. 1-7 PM and Sat. noon-5 PM.
