Are you interested in volunteering at Prairie’s Edge Humane Society?  Come to a Volunteer Orientation to learn about our organization, our mission, and our work.  We’ll tour the shelter and tell you what we expect from our volunteers and what you can expect from us.  We are always looking for conscientious volunteers to help us around the shelter and with programs and events.

Each person who volunteers their time at the shelter must attend a Volunteer Orientation.  In addition, if you plan to work with our dogs you will need to attend a Dog Orientation prior to interacting with our canine friends.  You may attend the Dog Orientation right after your Volunteer Orientation or attend it at another time.

Please call the PEHS shelter at 507-334-7117 to register for any of the following orientations!  Each session will be limited to 6 people due to space limitations.

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at Prairie’s Edge Humane Society!
